Ingredients of the product Liverin:
40 milligrams of milk thistle extract in a 1:1 alcohol solution (contains a minimum of 70 milligrams of silymarin per milliliter of the product)
Intended use:
Supportive treatment for liver and gallbladder disorders, liver protection
Milk thistle, which is a potent antioxidant, protects the body from cellular damage caused by free radicals. This plant contains 1.5% to 3% silymarin, which promotes the cohesion of liver cells and enhances their resistance against damage. It also plays a significant role in liver detoxification. Milk thistle prevents the formation of gallstones and aids in their treatment.
Recommended Dosage and Usage:
For adults, take a maximum of 40 drops, 2 to 4 times a day, with water or fruit juice. It is advisable to take the drops between meals. (Based on references, a daily intake of 140 to a maximum of 600 milligrams of silymarin is considered safe.)
Contraindications:
Do not use this product during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Refrain from using this product if you have an allergy to milk thistle. Keep the product out of the reach of children. Shake the bottle before use. This product contains alcohol.
Side Effects:
Milk thistle may initially have a mild laxative effect. Some individuals may experience nausea and stomach pain.
Drug Interactions:
Milk thistle may have moderate interactions with some drugs that are metabolized by the liver’s cytochrome P450 2C9 enzyme, such as diazepam, warfarin, NSAIDs, etc. Therefore, simultaneous use with these drugs should be avoided. Additionally, this herb has an antagonistic effect with yohimbine and phentolamine.
Storage Conditions:
After use, tightly close the bottle and store it away from light at a temperature of 15 to 30 degrees Celsius.
