Rotarin Intended uses:

Relief of cough, relief of sore throat

Rotarin Pharmacological effects:

Carvacrol is the active medicinal compound in the Marzongush plant, which has demonstrated antimicrobial properties in in vitro environments. This plant is used as an expectorant for respiratory conditions such as cough and bronchial infections. It is also suitable for treating cough.

In the quince seed, a compound called mucilage is responsible for therapeutic effects, along with some tannins and vitamin C. Quince seed is used for treating cough and has also been reported to possess anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties.

How to use and dosage:

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a cup of boiling water and let it steep for ten minutes. Consume two to three times a day.

Contraindications and recommended precautions:

Refrain from using this product if you are sensitive or allergic to any of its components.

Sufficient evidence regarding the safety of the used plants during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not available. Therefore, it is advisable to avoid using this product during these periods.

Drug Interactions:

Due to the mucilage content in the seed, it may reduce the absorption of certain medications. Therefore, refrain from taking other medications simultaneously with this powder, and consume it at least one hour after other medications.

Origanum vulgare may increase the risk of bleeding, so avoid its use two weeks before surgery.

If you are taking lithium, inform your healthcare provider, as this herb may increase the duration of lithium in the body.

Rotarin Side Effects:

No side effects have been reported at the recommended therapeutic dosage.

Storage Conditions:

Store in a cool, dry place away from light and moisture at temperatures between 15 to 30 degrees Celsius.
